The flight starts in southeast Pasadena flying to the West but looking North towards the San Gabriel Mountains (Mt. Wilson is the tallest visible mountain). We can see the city of Altadena lying on the foothills, pass by the Altadena country club followed by Lake Avenue, and begin changing perspective so that we can see the golf course just north of the Rose Bowl in the Arroyo Seco. We fly north up the Arroyo to the right of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, flying over the East parking lot. We then fly up the Gabrielino trail into the mountains.
