See an overview about radar images which contains basic descriptions about what imaging radar is and how we get the color pictures. There is also a description about the SIR-C Education Program.

Please peruse our CD Reference Section for the locations of the image data, software and other documentation.

The Lesson Plans start with an introductory lesson to teach students what we can learn about the Earth from imaging radar. Also located here are the teacher's guide, overhead slides and student reports about the SIR-C missions.
