For Macintosh
Where is the software?
All the software is located, naturally enough, in the Software
folder at the top level of the CD folder.
How is the software organized?
It's organized by software package, each having it's own
folder containing the application and associated files.
Go to the CD and browse the Software folder.
You'll see few folders and/or files.
Let's briefly go over what each software package does:
- MultiSpec imaging software. For more information,
access the WWW site at
http://dynamo.ecn.purdue.edu/~biehl/MultiSpec/.
It is requested you register your copy of MultiSpec at the above website.
- Netscape 2.0 is the World Wide Web Browser
that you are now using in this Guided Tour.
Installation instructions

- NIH Image 1.57 and 1.61 for analysis on the PICT images.
- Sigma0 1.0 was written at the
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
It is used for viewing and analyzing radar data especially
compressed stokes image data.

- SimplePlayer is a
program for running Quicktime movies.
- SimpleText,
a program that will read and display Macintosh PICT files.
