Coverage Maps (SIR-C/X-SAR, Seasat, SIR-A, and SIR-B)
SIR-C imaged about 10% of the Earth's land surface on flights
on-board the Space Shuttle Endeavour in April and October of 1994.
There are two on-line ways to find out if a particular site was imaged
during one of these flights.
-
Go to the Eros Data Center (EDC), where survey data from most of
flight one, and some of flight two are now available on-line.
- The X-SAR User
Kit has detailed coverage maps for X-SAR
- JERS-1
SAR coverage maps
- View the coverage maps below. These maps indicate the nadir
swath of the Space Shuttle, and do not exactly coincide with the
side-looking radar swath.
