All of the publicly released SIR-C/X- SAR images are now on-line. Here, you will find the images separated by type : Archaeology, Cities, Ecology & Agriculture, Geology, Interferometry, Oceans, Rivers, Snow, Ice, Glaciers ,Volcanoes
Images are divided into wings : The SRL-1 wing, the SRL-2 wing, the Interferometry Wing, and the SRL-1 & SRL-2 Comparision Wing. A special volcano exhibit may also be viewed. Each image is previewed by a thumbnail gif of about 15K, so you may want to turn autoloading images off.
Video fly-arounds, 3-d movies, images from the Space Shuttle's imaging radar, perspective views, and analglyphs of the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas.
There are currently 11 mpeg videos in the Screening Room. Some of these videos are simulated flights through 3-D radar images. These videos range in size from 113 KB to 8 MB. Each video is previewed by a thumbnail gif of about 15K, taken from a frame of the movie. Therefore, you will have to load about 0.2 Megabytes if you are autoloading images when you select the Screening Room.
