Below is a radar image of Los Angeles, California. This radar image was produced by the SIR-C (Shuttle Imaging Radar-C) experiment aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour during its October 1994 mission. North is towards the upper right-hand corner. If you look closely, you can discern freeways, major streets and rivers from this image.
